At 18:08 on October 12, 2026, Pingxiang Risun Energy Co., Ltd.’s 1.8 million tonnes per annum (t/a) coking project successfully produced the first batch of coke from its No. 2 coke oven. Previously, the No. 1 coke oven had already been smoothly commissioned. With this milestone, both coke ovens of the project have now been fully completed and put into operation, marking the successful achievement of a major phased target in project construction.
The Pingxiang Risun 1.8 million t/a coking project is a flagship benchmark under China Risun Group Limited’s strategic deployment of “multi-channel growth, multi-industry development, and multi-regional layout.” It is also a core project for driving industrial structure optimization and upgrading, empowering high-quality development of local industry. The full commissioning of the project is a fruitful result of government-enterprise collaboration, multi-party coordination, and complementary strengths.
