(Hong Kong – 25 May, 2024) China Risun Group Limited (stock code: 1907.HK,“China Risun” or “the Group”) officially started the construction of the backup Coke Dry Quenching (“CDQ”) project for Phases II, III, and IV in Dingzhou Park at 9:18 AM on May 25, 2024,.
This project is one of the important initiatives planned and decided by China Risun to focus on green, low-carbon, and high-quality development in Dingzhou Park. It is also a practical measure to actively respond to national policies, proactively adapt to market demand, and continuously deepen energy conservation, emission reduction, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement. Through this project, the CDQ capacity of Phases II, III, and IV will be significantly enhanced, ensuring stable, full, and high production in each phase's coke ovens. It will also ensure that during maintenance periods of the CDQ equipment in Phases II, III, and IV, coke can be dry quenched in the backup CDQ equipment, effectively addressing the issues of wet quenching and reduced coke oven load during maintenance. Additionally, it will increase the park's self-generated electricity, further improving energy utilization efficiency and clean production levels in the park, demonstrating comprehensive values of increased production, efficiency, energy savings, and environmental protection.
According to the plan, the project is expected to be completed and put into operation in October 2025, with an estimated annual increase in revenue of over RMB 40 million yuan.
