On June 13, 2025, participants of the Hebei Province Coal-Based New Materials Industry Matchmaking Seminar visited Risun Group’s Xingtai Production Base for an on-site inspection. The delegation included Mr. Shi Qiwei, Director of the Raw Materials Division of the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology; Deputy Director Mr. Li Dong; Professor Li Hao of the School of Chemical Engineering at Hebei University of Technology; Mr. Pan Junkui, Vice President of the Hebei Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association; Mr. Zhao Sitao, President of the Hebei Fine Chemical Industry Association; along with officials from the Industry and Information Technology Bureaus of Xingtai, Handan, and Tangshan; the Science and Technology Industry Bureaus of Xiangdu District and Neiqiu County; as well as key personnel from economic development zone management committees, prominent industrial parks, and leading enterprises across the province.
The delegation first gathered in front of the overview display boards of Risun Group and the Xingtai Park, where they gained a comprehensive understanding of the company’s achievements in industrial planning, business development, circular economy practices, intrinsic safety, environmental protection, quality management, R&D, and digital and intelligent transformation. They then proceeded to the rotary car dumper area for a close-up view of the entire automated process for unloading, transferring, and storing materials—experiencing firsthand Xingtai Park’s “no visible coal for coal use, no visible coke for coke production” green, efficient, and orderly production system. At the park's Smart Energy Dispatch and Management Center, the delegation explored the real-world application of digital platforms such as intelligent safety and environmental oversight, integrated energy utilization, and smart coal yard systems, and they spoke highly of the exceptional results achieved across various domains. Additional stops included the Cabot–Risun product showroom and the carbon-based materials pilot conversion park.
During discussions, members of the delegation remarked that Hebei’s coal chemical industry is currently undergoing a pivotal transition from expansion in scale to improvements in quality and efficiency. With its scientific development model and innovative achievements, Risun Group’s Xingtai Park has become a benchmark for transformation and upgrading within the province. The visitors expressed their hopes that the park would remain committed to a path of technology-driven, innovation-led, and green low-carbon sustainable development—further extending the industrial chain, enhancing core competitiveness, unlocking greater potential in new materials and chemicals, and continuously advancing smart equipment, intelligent manufacturing, and intelligent operations. In doing so, the park will not only realize its own high-quality development, but also serve as a model for the industry’s transformation and contribute to the vigorous growth of the regional economy.
