China Risun Group Limited (“China Risun”, or the “Group”, stock code: 1907.HK), a leading global integrated coke, coking chemicals and refined chemicals producer and supplier and relevant operation management services provider in China, completed EU REACH registration for its amino alcohol products on 18 July 2025, giving them direct access to the EU market. That marks another strategic breakthrough made by the Group following the kick off of full operation of its self-developed 5,000-tonne/year amino alcohol industrial production facility in its Dingzhou Production Base.
The EU REACH Regulation, with the acronym standing for “Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals”, is the core system for mandatory management of chemicals circulating in the EU. It requires chemical substances to be thoroughly evaluated, encompassing their production, use, and potential risks, and detailed data reports to be submitted. For chemicals of annual import/export volume exceeding one tonne, they must be registered with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), or would be prohibited to enter the EU market. Obtaining the certification indicates that China Risun’s amino alcohols meet the statutory registration threshold for exporting to the EU, as such, has laid the foundation for smooth customs clearance of relevant products of the Group.
The breakthrough is the fruit of the collective wisdom and expertise of the Risun amino alcohol project team.
