December 24, 2025 – China Risun Group’s subsidiary, Hohhot China Risun Gas Energy Co., Ltd. (“China Risun Gas”), has been ranked fourth in the first batch of Inner Mongolia’s Industrial Manufacturing, Energy Production, and Processing Brand Value Assessment. The “Risun” brand achieved a brand strength score of 895 and a brand value of RMB 12.84 billion, making it a standout representative in coal chemical industry brand building.
The assessment, organized by the Autonomous Region, was announced at the Inner Mongolia Brand Value Information Analysis Conference. It reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening brand development, enhancing competitiveness, and creating new pathways for industrial upgrading.
China Risun Gas’s recognition stems from six years of continuous innovation and growth in northern China. Since acquiring and reviving a long-idled 900,000-ton coking and 100,000-ton methanol facility in 2019, the company has rapidly expanded its footprint. Major projects include a 3.6 million-ton coking plant, a 450,000-ton ammonia facility, a 300,000-ton carbon-based materials project, and a high-purity hydrogen production line, all integrated within a large-scale, low-carbon industrial park.
In recent years, China Risun Gas has advanced high-end, intelligent, and green development. Landmark achievements include Inner Mongolia’s first independent coking wastewater zero-discharge project, ensuring 100% water recycling, and over 447 million kWh of annual self-generated power from waste heat. The company has built a closed-loop automated production system delivering fully clean operations, positioning itself as a core enterprise in Hohhot’s modern chemical industry cluster and a key driver of regional industrial chain integration.
Innovation remains central to brand value growth. China Risun invests over 15% annually in R&D, operating more than 20 research institutes and a team of 1,000 researchers, including 120 PhDs. The group has developed 585 proprietary technologies, 626 patents, and 196 software copyrights.
